Recyclable
SupremeCorqs are recyclable. To produce food contact high- grade quality plastic, a variety of basic compounds such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen are extracted from natural materials such as petroleum, coal and natural gas. These materials are combined together in a variety of sophisticated ways to produce different types of high quality recyclable synthetic materials.
SupremeCorq's raw material is designated as "other" or "number 7". This type of material is accepted by recyclers in areas where there is enough demand to justify it.
SupremeCorqs can also be used as keychains and erasers. We also recycle all scrap material that is generated at our production facility.
SupremeCorqs can be reused in the tasting room or at home to reseal the bottle. We do not recommend that, once bottled and extracted, a SupremeCorq be used to seal a new bottle of wine.
