SupremeCorqs are recyclable. To produce food contact grade quality plastic, a variety of basic compounds such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen are extracted from natural materials such as petroleum, coal and natural gas. These materials are combined together in a variety of sophisticated ways to produce different types of high quality recyclable plastics.

SupremeCorq's raw material is designated as "other" or "number 7". This type of plastic is accepted by recyclers in areas where there is enough demand to justify it. We have established recycling programs in areas where there is sufficient demand. Supreme Corq recycles all scrap material.

SupremeCorqs can also be used as keychains and pencil erasers. SupremeCorqs can be reused in the tasting room or at home to reseal the bottle. However, we do not recommend that, once corqs are extracted, a SupremeCorq be used to seal a new bottle of wine.
